We are speaking with up to ten Candidates a day on average and urging all seeking new roles to be prepared. Times have changed and sadly enough, this is no longer a Candidate driven market.
Even in as little as 5 months ago, Certified Technology workers could dictate needs, demands and even rates sometimes. Bring that to real-time July 2020 and we see too many Candidates looking for work and the old mantra of making special requests or skipping interviews or “gaming” the interview system is pretty much extinct for now. Now its time to compete, pay attention, be mindful and think short and long term.
We are advising Clients to be innovative when making job offers if base salaries have been augmented and or hourly rates. If someone is a really good fit, its important to be creative. A cultural fit, especially with this “here to stay” digital world is mission critical.
